We are delighted that our St Albans Beer Festival entry, Bob’s Your Uncle, has been chosen to be part of a beer tasting session by international industry expert, Roger Protz. Bob’s Your Uncle is brewed exclusively for Hatfield House gift shop.
Mr Protz, one of the world’s leading beer writers, editor of the Good Beer Guide and Herts Advertiser columnist, will host a major beer event during the St Albans Beer & Cider Festival, on Friday 2nd October at 7.30pm in the Council Chamber, Council Offices, adjacent by walkway from the Alban Arena.
Seven beers, ranging from mild through bitter, IPA, golden ale, porter and barley wine, will feature. All the beer will contain Maris Otter – a popular malting grain for brewers marking the 50th anniversary of the barley being grown.
